Your Circle: A creative movement, launching
“Your Circle” is a Lunch Day Party, curated by Those Guys, a Social Marketing Agency based in Gaborone, Botswana. This particular Lunch Day Party seeks to shake things up and provide a day time local restaurant experience to cater especially for the urban youth (Age group – from 20years till the early 40s). It is set to bring together the best in local talent, including all the way from chefs, photographers, poets, sound engineers, mixologists, videographers, and more. The main here is to create a platform for underground talent to be appreciated, most of our suppliers are first-timers, women, and the LGBTQ community. A platform, which can pay all the creatives involved what they deserve and support them, with our skills of branding, and enable them to stay relevant on their digital platforms. As per the norm with our brand, Those Guys, all that un-compromised focus will be on our customers’ experience with Your Circle. The meticulous attention to décor and careful curated music will also serve to carry the vibrant energy of this event.
Objectives
- Showcase great local talent; black talent, especially from marginalized societal groups.
- Create a well-coordinated social media campaign on Your Circle’s social media platforms, to ensure that all our partners and great talent at Your Circle get great mileage (brand awareness) from this.
- To enable local restaurants to make more income to support their business, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
VENUE: The No. 1 Ladies Coffee House

We picked this restaurant because of the Botswana narrative pride it embodies.
When it’s name is mentioned one immediately thinks of Mma Ramotswe, a great film about the Setswana livelihood. They will be responsible for our 3 course meal which will be served to our Lunch Session ticket-holders. The event will start at 3pm and end at 9pm, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
– TICKETS:
There will be 2 types of Tickets
Lunch Session Ticket (P400): This ticket gives the holder a 3 course lunch meal by from a specially curated menu by The No.1 Ladies Coffee House and 3 spirit cocktails mixed with Sox’s Lemonade & Ice Tea. We shall also enjoy an exclusive performance act by Carmelo Yoko, a queer poet, and Thato Jessica, a very talented versatile singer. In addition, we have the privilege to get their portraits shot by Giancarlo Laguerta against a beautiful tie-die backdrop designed by Valerie Brown, a talent multifaceted creative also from Botswana. PLUS Direct Access To Our After Lunch Party. This session is scheduled to start at 3pm and end at 5pm.
After Lunch Party Ticket (P200): This ticket gives the holder access to our second session where ticket holders will enjoy sets by Dj Dolly, a YAMA Best HipHop DJ Nominee, alongside a great icon queer Dj who is always setting Tlokweng bars on fire, Dj Peggy. And will have access to a burger stand by The No.
1 Ladies Coffee House. Holders who manage to make it before 6 pm will have a chance to have their portrait shot by the talented Giancarlo Lagureta. This session will start at 5 pm and end at 9 pm.
