Bad Example is yet another exceptional piece of work, his latest single off his upcoming project titled #NBTBD (Na Bannerman Ting Be Dis) Which translates to “This is the Bannerman thing” in west african broken english dialect.
The song speaks about the ups and downs, affirmation, and the challenges of loyalty in relationships when dating a “musician” depicting various situations and scenarios where all that’s left is trust to keep a long distance relationship in tact.
Yaw Bannerman has been working on #NBTBD since the release of his debut album and is said to deliver more of a bite in this project with hard knocking sounds and more trendy hiphop & afro beat vibes as opposed to the more sentimental feels of his debut album “Believing In The Feeling Is Right” (download here) There is a distinct difference in sound as he transitions from his emotion filled debut album to a more upbeat club banger mood for his next project.The Project is said to feature a variety of producers and features which was a minimal diversity in his debut album, and is said to have at least 12 tracks released in 2019.
