The annual Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAs) have secured a P 1.4 million in sponsorship. The funds are expected to benefit over 200 creatives from the, particularly hard-hit entertainment industry. This year winners in all 17 categories, will be treated to price money goodies with the largest amount of P60 000 set to be awarded to the peoples choice award, followed by the Song of the year at P40 000 respectively.
YAMAS Executive Producer, Kelly-Ramputswa Tlale, says she is excited that this year the awards were able to secure better sponsorship which will benefit the artists. The sponsors include the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development (MYSC), First National Bank (FNB), and Mascom.
