The single, titled \u2018SKY Anthem\u2019 is already gaining radio airplay as we enter the festive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/embed.music.apple.com\/us\/album\/sky-anthem-feat-dato-seiko-gaone-khoisan-han-c-jordan\/1540857880?i=1540857881&amp;app=music&amp;itsct=music_box&amp;itscg=30200&amp;ct=songs_sky_anthem_%28feat._dato_seiko%2C_gaon&amp;ls=1\" height=\"150px\" frameborder=\"0\" sandbox=\"allow-forms allow-popups allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation\" allow=\"autoplay *; encrypted-media *;\" style=\"width: 100%; max-width: 660px; overflow: hidden; border-radius: 10px; background: transparent;\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>The featured artists on the song are <strong>Dato Seiko, Khoisan, Han-C, Jordan Moozy, Charma Gal <\/strong>and newcomer Gaone, a 14-year-old girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DJ Kuchi, who created and produced the song, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI was excited to be approached by SKY Girls to make a song for them. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with the best local talent, some that I\u2019ve worked with before and some that I\u2019ve been hoping to work with for a while. We have so much talent here in Botswana and the experience of creating the song with these diverse artists was really cool.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"360\" height=\"134\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ebw.co.bw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Picture1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ebw.co.bw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Picture1.png 360w, https:\/\/www.ebw.co.bw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Picture1-300x112.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>SKY Girls is an empowerment brand for teenage girls. It was launched in 2014 and has been so successful in Botswana that it\u2019s since been rolled out in Zambia, Ghana, Kenya and Cote D\u2019Ivoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SKY Girls spokesperson Gaone Manatong said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe wanted to celebrate SKY\u2019s success and also give people a positive song to enjoy at the end of a difficult year. So we asked the SKY Girls which artists they would want to feature on a SKY anthem and we are so grateful all these amazing artists agreed to work with us. We also featured an actual SKY Girl called Gaone who is an up-and-coming rapper and got the chance to feature on the song too. We are really proud of the song and we hope that it helps teenage girls feel empowered and heard.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official music video launched on Friday 4<sup>th<\/sup> December and has racked up over 20,000 views in the first 2 days. It was shot by Director Mo at Bojanala Waterfront with styling by King Vanderbilt, and features all the artists plus SKY Girl dancers and celebrity cameos including Sadi Dikgaka, Tshepi Ess and Brian Rasesa.
