“The title of this mixtape is inspired by the well known street in Francistown, Blue Jacket Street. The Story behind the name of the street is that there once was an Australian miner who traveled from his native country all the way down to Francistown in search of gold as Francistown was the site of southern Africa’s first “gold-rush”. The area hailed as the Ophir of Africa, was rushed by prospectors and adventurers alike to stake their claim of fame and fortune, many coming from as far as Australia and America. Blue Jacket Dreams represents BNKSCTs claim to Fame and Fortune and how far We came to get to the the current point we both are as individual artists and a collective, as well as represent our hometown and identity. This mixtape was compiled over a period of a year and some months, in several locations. This is the second tape for the both of us, and as much as we have been doing this music thing for a while, it’s only the beginning and a stepping stone. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this journey and all who have encouraged us in any way or form, support means more than fame and fortune.” – BNKHD & Buiskuit Head<\/p>\n
