Thato Jessica makes RedBullMUsic’s ‘Lift As You Rise’ top 11
A few weeks ago Red Bull Music and Tall Racks Records announced ‘Lift As You Rise’, “a collaborative project focusing on uplifting artists across South Africa. This project comprises of Nasty C, Tellaman, Gemini Major, Rowlene, Lastee, and Zino D”. The internet across Southern Africa went buck with many hopefulls putting their best foot forward for what they hoped would be a huge stepping stone in their music careers.
As fate was to have it, BW’s very own (now ZA based) Thato Jessica made it through a tsunami of entries to be one of the selected top 11 who will share studio time with some big names out in Cape Town at a date to be announced.

Grammy award winning artist Sjava tweeted the news following Nasty C’s Instagram announcement and this serves as a huge endorsement for someone who is really deserving of a break through.
