New year, new music, new voices we’re discovering too – I’m excited to dig into this homie Mei Bra’s music. There’s a freshness to it, although with semblances of familiarity and references to that Pretoria rap scene – the boy is owning his own thing and his story is compelling. Rap’s always been a sport when influence and stylistics tend to sound similar, ‘Bofelo’ is a great listen thus far though. Stream it here
