Pula The Musical Shines with Four Nominations at SA’s Independent Theatre Awards
Excitement is palpable in the theatre community as “Pula The Musical” emerges as a frontrunner with four nominations at the highly anticipated 1st Independent Theatre Makers Awards. This groundbreaking production, which made its debut at the South African State Theatre in November 2023, has captured hearts and minds with its vibrant storytelling and rich cultural tapestry.
The nominations, announced amidst much anticipation, serve as a testament to the exceptional talent and creativity showcased in “Pula The Musical.” Leading the pack is former Miss Botswana, Palesa Molefe, whose riveting portrayal has earned her a nod for Best Lead Actress.
