POETRY MEETS FASHION AT THE 3RD ANNUAL FASHION WITHOUT BORDERS BOTSWANA 2017 “True Fashion and Lifestyle Movement”
In partnership with the Voice Newspaper, Gaborone will play host to the 3rd Annual Fashion Without Borders'(FWB) Designers Road Show, which promises to set trends in Gaborone for fashionistas – by fashionistas.
With the large number (20 from Botswana and 4 FROM THE REST OF THE CONTINENT) of Designers registered, this year FWB will be held over 2 days in different venues. April 6 2017 which will be hosted at the National Museum and Monuments from 18:00 hrs. to 21:00 hrs, the night will be a, exhibitions and Poetry style and The National Museum presents a perfect scenery to achieve this. The 7 April, from 18:00 till late, AVANI Hotel and Resort will play host to the event because of its perfect location and fashionable new look and design it presented FWB with a perfect chance to finally give our followers and indoor feeling.
Theme of this year is: “PRET-A-PORTER” – READY TO WEAR as we would like to encourage our designers to start thinking and learning how to penetrate in supplying huge stores all across the African continent, said Tebo Bakwena.
The brand FWB understands and support the dynamics of the mandate to provide youth with development skills and recognize the unique opportunity to use fashion, arts and craft in this regard.
This year we will witness exactly that with the large number of Designers from Botswana and the Launch of a book entitled THE PERIL OF A SAINT by Mr Kenneth Oaitse Moeng.
We are confident that our proposed solution will effectively address needs for open and transparent Celebrations that will contribute to the Job Creation and youth development in Botswana and the rest of the Continent. Our goal is to assist communities in its effort to provide youth with skills and motivation to participate in the socio and economic development in the disadvantaged areas around Botswana and the rest of the African Continent.
