New album alert: Bruno & KEB about to drop heat, 1st Single ‘FALLBACK’ on the way

Its been a minute since we’ve heard from the globe trotting wonder MC KEB whose beeeeeeen travelling the world, while on his travels  he’s made sure to get the necessary done for his music. In his own words the 1/3rd of the legendary trio Keb, Zeus and Samba notes that he’s “been  promoting the album and the hip hop industry in Africa, specifically Botswana. Did some work in Japan, Tokyo, Thailand, Phuket and just landed from Italy”.

He’s also go some good feedback for anyone looking to plug their music internationally too, “You will be surprised at the demand for African Hip Hop in these regions”, he said. “We are just wrapping up a joint Album with one of Botswana’s finest produces @BrunoOnTheBeat (The Botsa Ka Nna Producer). The album is a collaboration between KEB and Bruno and it includes a fusion of various genres and sounds I picked up while I was traveling the world. Within the album we have secured features from an Italian artists and a Japanese Dj’s. The first single of the album titled B.R.U.N. O is a hip hop track heavily influence by the dancehall vibes. The superb production is very notable and Bruno certainly lived up to his name as one of Botswana’s finest producers. The production incorporates the ridim sound and fuses it with the modern 808s. on the 1st verse Bruno is on the vocals, and KEB puts a stamp on it on the 2nd verse”.

 

Bruno in case you all didn’t know “is one of the pioneers of that feel good sound in our region, he has worked with the likes of HHP, Ginger Bread, Kid X.
His sound is very district and noticeable in his delivery and composition. Bruno is lauching this duo album simultaneously with a house compilation solo project called Ivy Soul”.

KEB and Bruno met eons ago, even before they started composing music, family ties. The duo started making music in Pretoria and Joburg were they crafted their skills as solo artists. Their first single was Botsa Ka Nna, which made a huge impact in the BW and RSA music industry,
receiveing positive reponses from Trace Africa and Channel O. Now the Duo have been in the studio for the past 3 months putting together a timeless production that goes beyond the trap era. They bringing back the hip hop sound with a touch of boop bap, and a touch of soul with a reggae/dancehall influence”,
