The EBW Soundclash is an ideas that aims to celebrate the best and brightest of the work coming out of BW from over the years. As is often the case, we usually focus on what’s new and current and tend to not look back at how far we’ve come and the years have really been gifting us some true jewels and classics. We look at June and what she has given us over the years since 2017. Here is your June Soundclash, you just have

June 2019

This was a strong month Frost dropped Morwalo, Mapetla with Santronka, Shabas Stele’s dope tape ‘Secrets on my pillow‘, Priscilla held her own, Tshepi D dropped tonnes of music and this resulted a really dope month in BW music, was it a step up from 2018. You let us know

June 2018

But of course there’s been a lot more music since 2018, there were a few notable highlights though with Luther October announcing himself, Taola dropped a really dope song with Foliage Records and the queen Mpho Sebina represented strongly with visuals in the same month. It seems like just yesterday

June 2017

It so happens that this is 4 years on from this particular June, an overview of the content has us thinking…how was this even a winter, the drops were hella hot. There was also the dope moment when some BW representatives went all the way out to Swaziland to represent at the Hypnotik Festival. Go back in time and check that out
