Celebrate the 40th Edition of The Perfect Noise Sessions with Sensational Headliner Kayso
For over three years, The Perfect Noise Sessions has been captivating audiences in Gaborone with its incredible showcase of local talent. This one-of-a-kind music show features a prominent homegrown musician as the headliner, accompanied by an impressive lineup of 10-15 diverse local acts. From poets and improv actors to contemporary dancers, instrumentalists, and musicians representing various genres, this event truly celebrates the rich artistic tapestry of Botswana.
More than just a music show, The Perfect Noise Sessions (PN) provides a safe and supportive space for budding artists who often lack opportunities to display their rapidly evolving skills. As a result, the show has fostered a passionate community of like-minded individuals, creating a movement-like atmosphere that resonates with everyone in attendance.
Driven by our unwavering dedication, we expanded our reach beyond Botswana and successfully organized a Perfect Noise show in Zambia. The most recent event, held on the 27th of September 2022, was headlined by the sensational Samantha Mogwe, captivating audiences across borders.
In line with our commitment to inclusivity and artistic expression, The Perfect Noise Sessions proudly held its first pride-themed event on the 25th of June 2021, with the extraordinary Dato Seiko gracing the stage as the headliner. Since then, every June show has embraced the spirit of Pride, commemorating a month dedicated to honoring LGBTQIA+ visibility, celebrating LGBTQIA+ culture, and supporting talented LGBTQIA+ artists.
This month, PN are thrilled to announce that our headliner is none other than Kayso, also known as Katso Busang. Kayso is an exceptional queer RnB artist and songwriter who has been making waves in the industry since her debut EP, ‘Distant Minds,’ dropped in 2021. With her remarkable lyricism and velvety voice, she has garnered a devoted fanbase that eagerly shares, retweets, and reposts her every musical creation. Just recently, on the 17th of February 2023, she released her highly anticipated debut album, which has been receiving extensive airplay and even making waves on YaronaFM’s radio countdowns with the hit single “Dead 2 Me.”
