Blain back from the UK with another #BodyBag
Sandile ‘Blain’ Mdlangamandla is not a new name to the Hiphop-scape in Botswana, he has established himself as something of a household name over time stemming from his days with compatriot Shay when Botswana first caught an ear and glimpse of them. Over the years he’s continued to hone the craft and is at the moment one of the strongest wordsmiths from the #BWSpace. His bouts at the Warzone league (Botswana) and Scrambles for Money (SA) always excite, with his signature ‘body bag’ tag often get crowds going in with him to close the rounds.
Blain recently went out to the United Kingdom to face an opponent from ‘overseas’, at Don’t Flops’ Revival9 event where he faced off with Joker Starr. Other battles on the night included Tumi vs Gemini, Gin-I Grimes vs Bobby Rex, Oshea vs Zain Azrai, Cerebro vs P Solja, Zen vs Cojay, Mr Take Note vs I-Kid and Makarvs LSDean.
Blain came away with a win from the event with many in attendance calling it the battle of the night. He also got to hang out with UK-BW producer Kraftey while out there which was really cool to see. The battle video is available on Pay-per-View via Vimeo.
