Ban-T’s out of ‘Mageba 2 Lefatshe’. Stream the EP

Consistency should be Ban-T‘s middle name, by now you know the man serves what he promises and we love it here. This project has been in the making for a bit and we can tell why, high production values, introspective writing, and of course the good feel energy that speaks to Ban-T’s overall outlook. “The fresh prince of Magheba to Lefatshe” tag is so appropriate given his journey over the last three years, a short and sweet project that sees an unexpected link-up between him and Bk Proctor with Jojo – making for a solid Afro-Beat inspired ‘Like Dat’. Maxx Tokeyo does the most on the opening song, two other songs on this have already made it as chart-topping singles, that is Bantastic WKND and Monate Wa Lefatshe (a link-up with Han C), which have done enough to put him back on the music conversation landscape. ‘Tonight’ is a potential single, and we trust will be a song you guys will enjoy. Licky’s lyrics exude confidence, likening herself to a diamond as one would shine brightly under immense pressure. The collaboration between Licky and Katlego Ramphaleng is giving, with their voices blending effortlessly over Bangu’s production. The result is an R&B gem infused with Botswana’s unique flavor. “Pressure (Diamond)” is a testament to staying strong in the face of adversity, and it’s a refreshing addition to the music scene.
