It’s an exciting time to be a young African child, with many individuals among us proving that dreams are within reach through persistence. AmoBeatz is one of those individuals, crafting music for some of Botswana’s favorite voices, as well as contributing to the work of rappers in Msanzi. Last year, he scored production for emerging voices in the USA’s reemerging R&B scene. Adding to the excitement, he worked on American Coco Jones’ “What I Didn’t Tell You (Deluxe)” album.

AmoBeatz, the acclaimed producer, stands out for his noteworthy collaborations, having partnered with Flex The Ninja and contributed his production skills to artists such as Thato JEssica, Flvme, Titose, Always Moving, and many others. His impressive body of work extends beyond individual projects, showcasing his versatility and talent within the music industry.

AmoBeatz, the Zambian-born producer and songwriter, deserves hearty congratulations for achieving the distinction of being the first officially recognized Botswana-based Grammy-nominated artist. His notable work has left an indelible mark, evident in the singer’s nominations for Best New Artist and Best R&B Album, particularly recognizing her debut EP, “What I Didn’t Tell You.” Coco, reflecting on her nomination, expressed that the project served as her introductory renaissance moment—a compelling re-introduction into the music industry.
